Swanage Steam Railway (Main station in Swanage)
Award-winning preserved railway operating over six miles between Swanage and Norden, through the beautiful Isle of Purbeck, passing the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle.

Durlston Country Park (interesting area for short walks to the south of Swanage)
A 280 acre countryside paradise, consisting of sea-cliffs, coastal limestone downland, hay meadows, hedgerows and woodland. It offers fabulous views, walks, the Great Globe, the superb geology and a wide range of wildlife.

Studland Bay (good walks to the north of the camp site)
3 miles of fine beaches from South Haven Point to the chalk cliffs of Handfast Point and Old Harry Rocks. The heathland behind the beach is a National Nature Reserve, a haven for many rare birds and other forms of wildlife. There are several footpaths, two nature trails and bird hides at Little Sea.

Putlake Adventure Farm (Langton Matravers)
Visitors are encouraged to explore and make contact with a variety of friendly animals in a relaxed atmosphere. Bottle Feeding Lambs and Kids, Pony Rides, Kune Kune pigs, Big Bail Barn, Barn Owls, Collecting Chicken Eggs, Trailer Rides, Ferret Racing, Tearoom, and much, much more. Putlake has 8600sq ft under cover. Discount for group bookings.
